Our Ministry

We are volunteer staff at a missionary discipleship center called Etnos.

Located in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Etnos provides specific training in effective cross-cultural church planting.  Candidates from Bolivia and several other countries in South America spend 3 years studying with us to learn theology, language-learning techniques, practical skills, church-planting strategies, and other tools needed to fulfill the Great Commission among unreached indigenous ethnic groups.  At the same time, we seek to disciple them personally as well, prompting growth to maturity in their spiritual walk, interactions with others, and personal habits.

Etnos alumni are currently doing ministry in Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, and Paraguay.

"So . . . What do you do?"

What does it mean?

Una Vida Para Cristo
One Life For Christ

Each of us has only one life to live.  If that life isn't lived for the glory of the Lord Jesus, of what good is it?  Ultimately, what value does it have?  Contrary to popular belief, missionaries are people too.  We struggle to glorify Christ in our own lives, just as you do.  We want this site to be a reflection of Him working through us.

To that end, Una Vida Para Cristo takes on another meaning.  The task that Jesus entrusted to the Church was one of discipleship: the evangelism of unbelievers and training of believers to maturity.  Our goal and vision is to take His Truth to people who have no opportunity to hear the Gospel in their own language.  Who will be affected next?  Who will be the next to stand up and say, "MY life for Christ?"
